WRITING FOR PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP

Sat 23 May

Discover how to craft compelling characters, raise the stakes to spark meaningful conflict, and write moments that demand to be performed – exploring what makes stories come alive in front of an audience.

In this two-hour workshop, dive into the essentials of writing for performance and the conventions that shape live theatre. Expect hands-on activities and writing exercises, creative provocations, and plenty of inspiration.

Complete beginners, regular writers, and curious creatives are all welcome to learn or expand on the concept of thinking theatrically. Leave with some fresh ideas, practical tools, a glimpse into the creative process of lively storytelling and the confidence to write for performance.
